  1. Keep us posted on how you get on. What makes you think it's now the thermostat?

Have you looked at eBay or AliExpress for the mudflaps? Regarding the bulbs make sure they're the type that won't throw up a bulb out message.
  4. Keep us posted on how you get on
  5. You could always get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  6. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Sounds like an interesting start to your Audi Germany. Hopefully you'll love your q8 when it arrives 🙂
  7. Hope non of you experience this kind of Christmas tree

That is an odd one. I'd definitely suspect battery. I'm assuming it's just one sensor?
  9. Steve Q replied to NJP10's topic in Audi A7 Club
Most likely the battery in one of the sensors is failing. Alternatively you could get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  10. Where have you tried so far? You could try eBay including international sellers, autodoc or AliExpress or Audi.
  11. They are expensive and kown to fail/stretch. You have to ask the question why did the 3rd ow we trade it in? Dont bother with taking out a warranty though as most aren't worth the paper they're written on. Check YouTube for buyers guides. Spec will be good. But if you want sat nav make sure it has it as it's an expensive upgrade.
  12. In that case I'd definitely say changing the oil is pointless as you've done it recently. You should be fine to drive it for it's diagnosis but take it easy.
  13. Looks lovely 🙂
  14. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the gearbox oil last changed? Worse case scenario you're looking at a module or megatronic unit.
  15. Glad you got sorted and the links I sent were useful 🙂
  16. It'll be on the floor under the carpet. Check to see if your carpets a damp, if you're getting condensation on the inside. Check spare wheel well for water too.
  17. You're welcome, please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂 Yes that's an option, but we're seeing more and more cars coming here with further issues after having dpf or egr deletes.
  18. You're welcome. Exactly! The Bluetooth module might need coding but I'm not sure.
  19. I'd recommend a second opinion from an Audi independent specialist. If you can get the part number id recommend you source a 2nd hand part, on sites such as eBay including international sellers.
  20. Glad it's working even if it looks unsightly.
  21. I'd recommend you look at the scuttle panel to see if the drain holes are free from foliage. If they're blocked then water can build up and leak through the bulkhead. In addition, you could look, at the windscreen as failed seals/glue etc can fail. Especially if it's not the original windscreen. Also, is the car loosing any coolant? Or the heater not working properly? I ask as a failing/leaking heater matrix could be the issue.
  22. Where have you tried so far? I'd recommend you try eBay including international sellers. In addition I'd recommend you put wanted ads on breaker sites.
  23. I'd definitely consider the egr/egr cooler as the main cause with this. But you could get a pressure test done on the engine to be safe.
  24. Glad you got some resolution in the way of replaced discs. Hopefully you get to the bottom of the issue soon.
  25. Were any of the links I sent you any good?
