Hi. I have exactly the same problem on my 2016 A3. Thank you all for your endeavours to fix the problem, I hope mine will mend too......... ? I'll have to check in the morning the I have the same software; RMC_EU_P16342 If this is still relevant ? Have just scrolled to the top of my MEMORY list of radio stations and can't get 'Update Station List' I merely get the first Radio station in my list. Does anyone have any clues how I get the 'Update Station List' prompt up please ?
  6. I think the same thing has happened on my Audi A4 b9 2017. It looks easy enough to replace but not sure if it's recirculation or fresh air control motor. I need to find someone with VDCS who can do it for me, don't suppose you're near Northampton way by any chance? Do you know the part number?
  7. I was planning on adding to the forum at the point there was something worthwhile to update the forum on. I didn't see the point in messaging regularly to say nothing new to report. Thankfully the warning has only appeared in few and far between instances recently. As noted above it only tends to be when starting the engine when already hot (after popping into a shop etc). Whilst I don't think the issue is gone, I have been very busy recently and dealing with the car has not been a priority. I am following the advice of my local mechanic and seeing how things go for now before deciding upon the next steps.
  8. Thank you for the suggestion Gareth. I’ll have a look at the part website. I understand that now, thank you for your help. Dan
  9. Cheers. Glad to hear I'm not the only one😆
  10. No probs at all
  11. Welcome to the forum Ricky you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Nice you've got a two car Audi family 🙂
  12. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I intend on steering clear of the cheap Chinese ones as the lag and slowdown on things like this will creep in over time. Happy to use a shop to buy/fit if it's a decent price overall.
  13. Afternoon everyone, I’ve had an intermittent left turn signal fault show up on my 2014 Avant for a couple of weeks now. At first I thought it could be a faulty contact or damp inside the light cluster. On closer inspection, one of the LED’s for the indicator is not working. Could anyone assist with a genuine part number please? I had a look on the underside and it seems to A046318 but that shows up Mercedes parts on EBay. Thank you for any help, it is much appreciated. Paul.
  14. Thank you. One day somebody will bless you for that information.
  15. Have a look at the caliper, and the bushings. My car is a 2016 (built in 2015) A6. I don't know if the calipers are the same, you could look up the parts breakdown on Audi site and see the part numbers for your car. Maybe the same or similar, but this is for sure the cause of the vibration in my car, I think the calipers could not slide easily, so that the brake effort needed was much higher, and the vibration was horrendous.
  16. Ah yes possibly thank you for that
  17. Thanks Gareth, yop its the arm part, i find the more i work on different parts of the car - the more names the same part has lol. Will give them a try and let you know how it goes 👍 😀
  18. Ill check that now, thanks for the advice
  19. Was this response of any help to you?

  21. If you've bought it from a dealer I'd get it back to them asap for repair. They should repair it free of charge
  22. Can’t help with the paint code, but if you’re refurbishing yourself, Würth silver paint aerosols are as close to OE as you can get without going down professional wheel refurb route with powder coat, etc. Needs a few coats of lacquer too. Get the Würth 891090 spray attachment.
  23. Thanks for your response. Tony
  24. As Cliff says plus it's a money making racquet
  25. I wonder if this is a fault with the instrument cluster. You can send it off for an assessment and repair. Repairs usually are around £200-£300
  26. No you should be able to I think. I think it'll depend if it has canbus which was first introduced either in 2003 or 2004. My A6 is pre canbus so it's slightly harder due to the system not being as complex as later ones. But either way a competent mechanic should be able to diagnose it.
  27. Hi MiguelP, I would state to the dealer that it must be rectified before your extended warranty expires. Mine must have been an electrical ‘glitch’ because the only thing Audi Oldham did was to plug it into the diagnostic. Hope you get it resolved. Regards, Andrew
