  1. Hi Richie....welcome to the Forum You could try these guys... http://www.essexturbos.com/ or http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A4-S4-RS4-_facelift__/Turbochargers--Parts/63707 Keep us updated with how you get on Cheers Trevor
  2. Hi Dan...welcome to the Forum I would probably disconnect one component/lead at a time and see when the noise disappears to narrow down the cause. It may be a case of then insulating/shielding the cable to stop the interference. Let us know what you find. Cheers Trevor
  3. It does sound like that may have been the case....I would keep an eye on it in the future and if it doesn't occur regularly then it may have been a regen taken place.
  4. A very odd fault indeed! Have you found out what the potential cause/fault is yet?

Hi Steve There are a few bulbs, LEDs and DRL listed on this link http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A1/Bulbs--LEDs/174060 Keep us updated on how you get on with it Cheers Trevor

Thanks for submitting the video Dan
  7. It seems like it could be something to do with oil circulation in which case it would be worth having the chains checked and/or replaced whilst it is still under warranty and before it turns into something more serious. Keep us updated as to how you get on with it all Cheers Trevor
  8. Seems like all the components it could have been you have replaced then. I do wonder if it is the bulb....as in quality, maybe a fault with it?
  9. Hi Dan...welcome to the Forum I totally agree with everything Magnet has said especially the need to use quality parts...it pays in the long run! The heater fan only working on certain speeds is usually the resistor pack as suggested. Cheers Trevor
  10. Hi...and welcome to the Forum You could look at Tuning Boxes that do virtually the same job as a remap. http://www.audiownersclub.com/news/reviews/club-reviews/product-reviews/electronic-engine-tuning-guide/ Keep us updated on how you get on with remapping Cheers Trevor
  11. Probably because it has been minus 5 this year which is unusual so that was enough to activate it
  12. Hi Wayne...welcome to the Forum Welcome also to the wonderful world of Audi Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  13. Hi Ian...welcome to the Forum That's a strange fault....the only thing I can think of if it is a HID lamp is that the igniter/amplifier may be faulty. Keep us updated on what you find. Cheers Trevor

  17. I agree with you Magnet...my thoughts are if a rear hose is being replaced then chances are the majority of the brake fluid has disappeared and if refilling and bleeding a dual-circuit brake system, chances are that there is now air in the diagonal circuit. In principle, you are correct and it could involve chasing the air around the vehicle unless some sort of procedure is followed. Your comment on the hose blowing out is bang-on and quite worrying why the hose has gone? This is something that would concern me and also if one has gone because of age (perished) then I would replace them all to be on the safe side.
  18. Hi Simon I would take it to a VW/Audi specialist who can code the lamp into the car and activate it. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  19. Hi Simon...welcome to the Forum Four Audis?!?....sucker for punishment :-) Glad your enjoying the A6, great car ! Cheers Trevor
  20. Hi Richard...welcome to the Forum The funny thing with French cars is that you either get a good one or a really bad one...had a Citroen Xsara, Peugeot 106 and 206 over the years and they have been incredibly reliable. I can imagine the Audi is a completely different kettle of fish though...better ride, comfort, performance...etc Look forward to reading your posts in the future Cheers Trevor
  21. I use a Mityvac....bought a cheap one from eBay (had to fix it before using it but has been fine since). By far the best way to bleed brakes in my opinion....and no pedal pumping involved.
  22. Why not post a photo of your new pride and joy Click on the link to go to the gallery and then upload as many photos of your Audi as you like http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/gallery/category/1-members-albums-category/
  23. Hi Gary...welcome to the Forum I would work on the principle that the brakes on all four wheels will need bleeding. The clutch should be okay if the fluid level was maintained enough...but if the pedal feels okay then no need to bleed it...although its good to refresh the fluid every so often. I would keep the fluid topped regularly and using a vacuum bleeder, work around the vehicle in the following sequence. Front left caliper Front right caliper Rear left caliper Rear right caliper I would recommend a vacuum brake bleeder kit (vacuum pump) to draw the fluid through as opposed to using pressure back up through the system....can lead to flipping the master cylinder seals. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  24. Hi Assim....welcome to the Forum Can totally sympathise with you on the GTR, a truly wonderful car. However, welcome to the wonderful world of Audi....I'm sure the S7 will be a worthy consolation...enjoy it ! Looking forward to seeing some piccies of it. Cheers Trevor
