  1. Keep us informed on how it goes, cheers
  2. Hi Darren....welcome to the Forum Glow plugs faulty, blown fuse, faulty relay....to name a few. Worth starting with the fuse and relay first Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  3. Maybe worth flushing the heater system through....messy but effective!
  4. Sounds like a cool project Simon, maybe you could list it as guide on here? http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/
  5. I would totally agree with Magnet....usually an engine preheater but if you don't have that as a fitted option then I would be worried
  6. Hi Dean...welcome to the Forum Here is a link to a few on offer on eBay...not sure about the quality though http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A4-S4-RS4/Carpets--Floor-Mats/36678 Cheers Trevor
  7. Hi Daz...welcome to the Forum It sounds like a power distribution fault. I would be tempted to close the roof fully and then disconnect the battery and when reconnecting, ensure that you code the remote plip to the car to reset the alarm system. See if that cures the electrical system gremlins...let us know what you find. Cheers Trevor
  8. HI Marc....welcome to the Forum It may be worth spending on a fluid and filter change to see if that improves things, if not...then at least it wouldn't have been too much spent on a duff gearbox. Let us know how you progress with this issue Cheers Trevor
  9. You could look at what this company has to offer http://www.iceboxauto.com/audi
  10. Thanks for the update...great to know its a cheap fix as well
  11. Sorry Marc...didn't read your post properly first time. Not sure about relocating the AC panel but maybe someone has done this mod before?
  12. Unfortunately, I don't have an A8/S8 (yet!) . Will try to arrange some meetings in 2017....watch this space
  13. That's good news...keep an eye on it to see if it has a pattern to when/if it goes out again
  14. Hi Marc....welcome to the Forum Have a look at what these guys offer in the way of replacements http://www.iceboxauto.com/audi Keep us updated on how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  15. Hi Robert...welcome to the Forum I have the same problem on a Golf (same mechanics) and I beleive that the fault is down to the linkage seizing. Worth checking the fuse first to see if it has blown....especially if there is ice on the screen and the blades stick, tends to either break the linkage or blow the fuse. Let us know what you find Cheers Trevor
  16. Great news! Good to know that the Silica did the trick :-)
  17. Hi John...welcome to the Forum It's annoying to find small faults but at least they are only small faults and hopefully not too expensive to resolve. Good to have you onboard. Cheers Trevor
  18. Hi Graham...welcome to the Forum I've moved the topic to the A3 forum but left the link here as well. Strange fault with the indicators...could be a CanBus issue? Hopefully someone else has experienced this before and can shed some light on the solution. Cheers Trevor
  19. Hi Simon....welcome to the Forum Normally Bose produce really good sound .... maybe its an acoustics thing with the interior of the A7? good to have you onboard! Cheers Trevor
  20. Hi Mel...welcome to the Forum I totally understand the need for toys at the age of 53...I'm at that age and still justify the need to play with cars and bikes until....well maybe forever! Keep us updated on your potential purchase Cheers Trevor
  21. Useful article on electronic engine tuning http://www.audiownersclub.com/news/reviews/club-reviews/product-reviews/electronic-engine-tuning-guide/
  22. Hi Lee...welcome to the Forum She's a beauty! Can't think that there's much better any 'V' engine roar...enjoy Cheers Trevor
  23. Hi Simon Not the expert on these audio systems but can you alter the sound output on the iPod (e.g. speakers, surround, bass, club, opera, etc). May alter the output slightly to improve the bass. Let us know what you find as useful for other members who may be experiencing this issue. Cheers Trevor
  24. AOC Admin replied to Morgan's topic in Audi Q7 Club
Hi Morgan...welcome to the Forum Not entirely sure what the differences are between the years but needless to say they pretty much all come fully loaded...great car! Keep us updated on your purchase Cheers Trevor
  25. Sorry no one answered your post but its probably just a case of no one encountering the same problem. Did you sort it in the end?
