No probs at all. You might be able to get machined aluminium end caps like you can for the c5. They're not cheap though.

I think the q3 is only available with an s tronic gearbox. Either 6 speed 7 speed or 8 speed depending on engine.

Could it be a maf issue? Or injector issue?

Osram are supposed to be good.

Those issues are well documented. I'd recommend you look at some YouTube videos on buyers guides etc. Make sure all electrical items work as some can be expensive to replace/repair such as the AC or mmi.

I think you'd struggle getting any discount as it's nearly 2 years since you last had the fault. Might be worth you taking it to Audi if no-one else can find the issue

Think the esp issue could be a abs sensor or speed sensor at a guess. Might be worth getting the dpf checked to make sure it's not blocked

I guess the best thing to do would be to get all the correct parts from a car being broken. Regarding injectors, wouldn't it be better to get upgraded/race injectors?

Don't bother going off the brochure. Audi have been having a habit of discontinuing bits on cars such as ambient light packages etc even though cars are supposed to come with them and then arrive without them. This is due to a shortage of parts and the longer delivery times

Sounds like a great trip. Can't beat a bit of nostalgia.
