Could well be the antenna. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up and confirm it.
  2. Glad you got confirmation regarding insurance. I'm genuinely surprised there aren't any that'll fit.
  3. It might be worth checking to see your insurance view on side steps as a lot of insurance companies see them as a mod and won't cover them.
  4. If bought from a dealer in the last 30 days get this back to this asap as it the dealer should fix this free of charge. It'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Worse case scenario it'll be the megatronics unit that's failed
  5. Thanks Cliff very informative 🙂
  6. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 I do love the d3. Cracking engine note on the V10. Hope it proves to be a lovely car.
  7. Check buyers guides on YouTube. Service history is key. Make sure there's proof of gearbox oil services etc and all electrical items work.
  8. As well as Steve's sound advice id also recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up

Please keep us posted on how you get on
  10. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  11. Have you had the door card off to have a look? Is the speaker working ok?
  12. Looks great 🙂
  13. Water ingress is proving an increasing problem. Check the service history of the car you're looking at. It might be due auto gearbox oil service etc.
  14. Please keep us posted on how you get on. An alternative option would be to get the car remapped and have the dog mapped out.
  15. You'll need the clock spring from the new wheel.
  16. As long as it doesn't need a steering rack.....
  17. If you can get a new connector that's the simplest option if possible. Changing the part won't be cheap I suspect.
  18. Airbag warning issues are usually caused by loose wires under the passenger seat. It'll need a diagnostic check to confirm. There should be a separate yellow light to warn you if passenger airbag is off. This is usually deactivated by using the key in the key slot inside the glovebox.
  19. Glad you e got to the bottom of it. Now there's the question!
  20. Could it be timing chain?
  21. Steve Q replied to RS4Dad's topic in Audi RS Club
Sorry to hear this but easily done
  22. I'd recommend taking the door card off to see if the linkage/rod has come loose or detached
  23. You'll need the wheel, airbag, clock spring, wiring loom and then it to be coded to the car to make sure it's all calibrated correctly with the steering angle sensor etc. speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them for retrofits in the past.
  24. Check for proof of cambelt and water pump changed and gearbox oil changes. Is it manual or auto? Any proof of quattro system service? Tyres, are they even tread and same brand on the axle as it can cause wear to quattro system if not. Do all electrical items work? Have you checked buyers guides on YouTube?
