  1. The only retrofit guide we have for the A3 8v is the led cup holder retrofit. If you find a retrofit guide for the power tailgate please feel free to share it. Cheers Steve

No probs. Look at bilstein etc.
  6. What have garages done to diagnose it? Could it be a blocked fuel filter?
  7. Thank you for the update. I isn't think about behind the glovebox, apologies. Please keep us posted on how you get on with the installation.

I'd recommend looking on eBay including international sellers.
  9. Is it worth changing both if there not too expensive. Alternatively it might need a more advanced diagnosis with an auto electrician or Audi independent specialist.
  10. Great idea and fitting guide thank you.
  11. Id suspect the amp at fault. As it'd be unusual for two speakers to fail at the same time. But this should come up as a fault with a diagnostic check
  12. If an auto and all selector lights are lit up then the selector switch could be at fault. But this should throw a fault code.
  13. You'll need to swap your door modules from your current car to any replacement doors otherwise you'll have central locking problems

  15. It'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Are there any other electrical gremlins? I ask because if there are this could be a low battery that's the cause.
  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks a lovely s3

I'd recommend getting matching shock absorbers too.
  18. Glad you've found it, please keep us posted on how you get on
  19. I think that'd be your best bet. Putting a cambelt on it won't help in my opinion and could do further damage. They removed the 5 year rule a few years ago which I think is ridiculous. Also £1k for a cambelt is very expensive too.
  20. Sorry to hear of your situation, it's appalling that Audi remove the time marker off the cambelt changes which used to be 5 years. The way I'd look at this, you pay £1k to Audi for them to fit a cambelt and then tell you it's worse than just a cambelt. Or you spend that money on having the engine stripped to confirm it's the valves. Audis response is disgraceful but not surprising

Very informative Steve. Besides your sound advice, I think most people don't realise that tampering with the emissions systems is also illegal and voids insurance
  22. It might be under the front passenger seat or one if the boot side panels.
  23. You will have to fit it to the new grill. Ideally in the same position as the old one.
