  1. That I'm not sure. I can't see why not. I've never heard of a dealer protecting a car when being exported. Usually the car is exported then any modifications that are required to make it road legal for that country are made when it arrives. Such as lights for example. But the dealer would have no reason modding it regarding it's spec unless on safety grounds depending on the rules in that country if that makes sense.
  2. Great job 👍 my wheels could do with a refurb to be honest.
  3. As you've seen in the other thread I think your adjuster cable has come loose or snapped.
  4. Definitely worth a shot with an auto electrician first.
  5. Hi Ronny, my understanding of the current sat nav systems was that it had to be plugged into a computer at the main dealer linked directly to Germany which would then upgrade the map.
  6. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out. You've done a good job so far to rule out certain things. It could be a module or remote central locking receiver that's failed. With the issues I've had with my central locking I had to get an auto electrician to take a look.
  7. Fantastic, thank you so much 🙂
  8. Glad it's all sorted ☺️
  9. You're welcome, still a major failing. My grandad had a Volvo 760 where something similar happened.
  10. My advice would be to get a diagnostic check carried out. It could be the dpf is blocked or restricted causing the light. Also it could be a sensor that's at fault.
  11. If theyre all the same there must be a reason. You could always see if lhd markets are the same or different?
  12. If you've bought from a dealer you'll be covered for 30 days as you're entitled to a full refund for 30 days.
  13. Yea I'd say it's the car trying to do a dpf regeneration. My advice would be to take it on a motorway run for 20 mins- half an hour.
  14. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ☺️ hopefully nthis one will be more reliable than your last!

  16. If it's diesel it'll probably be doing a dpf regeneration. Is it used only for short journeys?
  17. My advice would be to put in premium as that's still e5.
  18. Ah my apologies. In that case nice one! ☺️
  19. I'd be checking the light seals, the area where the spoiler attaches ECT for any failing seals.
  20. I guess it depends what's wrong with the system. If the wrong adblue has been used then they won't. The system might just need resetting, draining or a level sensor might need changing.
  21. Glad it's all resolved for you 🙂
  22. You're welcome, glad I could help 🙂
  23. Hi, this is the overview of your code error. possible an air leak if the manifold has been removed or a leaking hose, i'd be checking all the hoses etc for tightness to start with then working from there for leaks . if all ok then go to next items. 16555/P0171/000369 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1: System Too Lean Possible Causes Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) defective Intake System Leak(s) Possible Solutions Check Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) Check Fuel Pressure Regulation Check Fuel Pump Check Injectors Check Intake System for Leaks Check Exhaust System for Leaks Check Secondary Air System for Leaks Check Vacuum Pipes for Leaks also this . P0171 Audi Description With the Air/Fuel Mixture Ratio Self-Learning Control, the actual mixture ratio can be brought closely to the theoretical mixture ratio based on the mixture ratio feedback signal from the heated oxygen sensors 1. The Engine Control Module (ECM) calculates the necessary compensation to correct the offset between the actual and the theoretical ratios. In case the amount of the compensation value is extremely large (The actual mixture ratio is too lean.), the ECM judges the condition as the fuel injection system malfunction and light up the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) (2 trip detection logic). IT may seem mad but has the MAF sensor plug been refitted properly, also worth a check just to eliminate connection issues.
  24. Now they looks smart 👍
