  1. Has the switch unit itself failed?
  2. I believe they need coding to the car. And the rear light loom might.need some modification. A good auto electrician should be able to do this
  3. Don't get a tuning box. People have been known to report issues once they're removed. A remap is a more sensible option even if it is more expensive.
  4. You're welcome 🙂 maintenance is key. My 2002 a6 which my dad bought new, and I now own has done 332k on the original engine and gearbox. You want a car with full history bwhich is well cared for. Even if it costs you more to purchase it should stand you in good stead in the long run

Haha 🤣 just seen this. Oops, silly auto correct
  6. You're welcome and fingers crossed for you 🙂
  7. The system might need an update.

I believe, water leak is normal on ac systems.
  9. Well I would never thought that!
  10. I believe it should be.
  11. Glad you got this sorted Andy 🙂 Cheers Steve
  12. Very good question, I'm not entirely sure on that one.
  13. You're welcome 🙂
  14. I know it's does on the a3 a d the q2 is very similar to that. It's definitely worth speaking with Audi
  15. I think it's an automatic function. If it wasn't working then I suspect it would be working on some doors and not others. Let's face it, it's one less thing to go wrong. Hope you're happy with your a8🙂
  16. Glad it has. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check to see if there are any stored fault codes.
  17. My advice would be to get the battery tested to see if it's on its way out as batteries can cause electronic issues. In failing that you could get a diagnostic check carried out as the fault code will be stored on the ECU. Could be a dpf issue. But I'm guessing

If econ button stays on then the aircon isn't working properly. You could get a diagnostic check carried out or a regas abd leak test done.
  19. Welcome to the forum Milo, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 My brother, and friends have fitted Powerflow exhausts to their vehicles and I can strongly recommend them. You can choose the sound and diameter you wish. Cheers Steve
  20. As you've diagnosed it as the EGR my advice would be looking to replace that.
  21. My rough knowledge, I believe if the battery is the identical spec it won't need coding.
  22. Oh of course. Sorry, being silly. You might need to change the loom to both rear lights.
  23. I bet! Totally agree, life's too short to grow up 😉 Think you've done the right thing. Better to get a clean s4 rather than a scruffy S6.
  24. If you're still locked out then you might need to get the AA to get into it.
  25. Diesel allroads are more common, but petrol ones do exist, but only in 2.0TFSI only. I do not believe they are all air suspension though, I thought it was an option. I think these videos might help: Cheers Steve
