  1. I'm sure you need more than just the head unit I'm surprised Audi didn't say what else it needed or why it wasn't working. I'd be taking it back to Audi for them to sort this.
  2. I'd be going to Halfords or other motorfactors as Audi will charge you a fortune.
  3. I'm wondering if it's an air pressure issue with the MAF is playing up?
  4. Sounds like you've done a good job, did you bleed the air out the system after all.tebwork you've done?

Will be worth it. Try and get a remap done by a company who will dyno it too. Obviously you'll get bhp and torque increases but sometimes you get an mpg increase too
  6. Sorry I can't help more
  7. I think if it was imobiliser.itbwouldnt even crank to be honest. Was the battery holding charge etc?
  8. As you say it's all about the service history and this should be full. This video should help:
  9. Welcome to the forum David, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum Told, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Sounds like you've got your mind made up.on engine choice. If most of your driving is city based then diesel is no good to you I'd say. S line trim had the sportier suspension. Cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Dave, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Yea could be imobiliser. Does it crank? And do you have a red flashing light on the dash etc?
  12. Welcome to the forum Andy, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forum Howard, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Sorry this post was missed by the way. Usually we attend various events throughout the year and the likes of VAG tuner live at donington have track time. Cheers Steve
  14. At the dreaded cost of a new one from Audi, you're best bet I think.is to try abd get a used one from eBay or similar. Think youll need the exact part number for it to work. Plus it might need coding to the car. Cheers Steve
  15. As per the title here's the link to the BBC article: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/business-53676205
  16. You're welcome 🙂 I do wonder if cars are becoming increasingly complicated. Cheers Steve
  17. You're welcome, sorry I can't help more.
  18. Is it happening with both keys or just one? If it's both abd you've changed the batteries then there could be an issue with the imobiliser etc and it might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out. Cheers Steve

These images should help as this is how Audi do it I believe. Also I could have been wrong about the amount of litres. It could be 7-8 for the cvt. Also I've seen this on eBay which should work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/231568213543
  20. Very good question, I'm not sure. Might be worth speaking to Audi.
  21. You're welcome. When it flips in the plastic string bit (for want of a better word) goes through the hole at the back of the towing eye cover space if that makes sense.
  22. Sounds a good car, but that's annoying but common practice. Cheers Steve

Yea you'll definitely need the adapter, sport I forgot to mention that. The c5 is a lovely car, I love mine but I'll be honest I dont daily mine now. You could always get it recovered to a garage. If it's a Quattro model it'll need a flatbed. Cheers Steve
