  1. Sounds like an immobiliser fault. I'd recommend get a diagnostic check first and a new battery.
  2. Glad this thread has helped 🙂
  3. I'd refit the old radio to see if that resolved the problem first.
  4. You might be able to get one on eBay.
  5. Steve Q replied to Nate's topic in Audi A3 (8P) Forum
You might need a new dpf.
  6. I know the feeling. I'm sentimental about my A6 too. It's been owned by my dad then me a d we've had it from new (20 years). I'm already thinking about the future when the engine goes bang. I'll be putting in a replacement engine that will be tuned.
  7. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sounds a lovely car. I like my older cars too.
  8. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 lovely looking Q7, I love the colour.
  9. Very nice 👍
  10. No I don't believe it can as they're different body shells.
  11. Egr cooler could be a problem. Has it been blanked off. Also you might need to replace the dpf. Dont buy a cheap one though as they dont last. Also bare in mind the mods you're doing could affect the mot.
  12. I'd look to change the switch as a starting point.
  13. You could try changing to standard seats if yours are the sportier type for example.
  14. What ever the official mpg figures are then take 10 mpg off that to give you a rough idea. Plus it wil depend on your driving style.
  15. Parking brake and esp light definitely can be linked to it. I'd recommend getting the battery tested and replace if found defective bas a starting point.
  16. Nice. I'm not in any others. I avoid the ford scene now.
  17. Could be a leaking pipe. Worth considering before changing the turbo.
  18. Yep still available 😀
  19. Glad it's sorted for now. Might have worth getting a diagnostic check to see if there's any faults linked to the central locking system.
  20. I'd recommend you put an ad with some breaker sites. I'm guessing youve tried ebay or speaking to a body shop?
  21. No probs at all.
  22. Could it be an issue with the switch or ballast boxes in the headlights?
  23. Sorry to hear of your issue. If the garage haven't already, it might be worth getting a diagnostic check done to see if any fault codes flag up. Also you could consider a battery test as a failing battery can prevent the stop/start from.working.
  24. Glad you got sorted 🙂
