  1. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. I'd recommend a diagnostic check, system reset or update first.
  3. That's the other thing to consider, water getting in between the door and roof. Over time fabric roofs shrink.
  4. What fantastic work you've done, you should be applauded. I have moved this post to the servicing section and pinned it so others can find it easily.
  5. Glad you got sorted ๐Ÿ™‚

If you bought it less than 30 days ago then you can get the dealer to fix it. You could get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. It could be a failed compressor so expect an expensive bill if so.
  7. You're welcome glad this forum could help ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks for adding the fitting guide.
  8. Has it rained? Check your battery tray for blocked drain holes.
  9. I agree with Steve, check under the front seat airbag wiring. Usually the passenger side is often the cause.
  10. If you click on the edit button you should be able to change the name.
  11. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ no wonder you can't wait, sounds a lovely car.
  12. My first port of call for any parts is eBay. Specifically try eBay Germany.
  13. What's the service history. Especially with the gearbox? Tyres have they got matching tread and same brands. As uneven wear can damage the quattro system.
  14. Definitely dangerous, they'll only get rid of the system once multiple people are killed. Just like smart motorways.
  15. Please keep us posted on how you get on ๐Ÿ™‚
  16. Glad you got sorted ๐Ÿ™‚
  17. I'd recommend only buying genuine new or reconditioned. Don't buy cheap Chinese nonsense as it'll only fail in a short amount of time.

  20. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ good luck with your search. Have a look at YouTube buyers guides.
  21. Oo good point, I know a lot of cars have now got anti tamper/anti Syphon systems. Would probably work on my old A6.
  22. Well I've learned something new today ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  23. Rangers aren't reliable. My mechanic bought one new. It has to have a full new adblue system at 2 weeks old! You see I only like to buy approved used if possible. We always had more issues from non approve than approved used cars.
  24. Glad you're prepared ๐Ÿ˜Š
