  1. That's great news. Hopefully once the new one is fitted it'll resolve the issue 🤞
  2. I'd be speaking to Audi parts department as they'll have the schematics.
  3. Glad this thread helped 🙂
  4. Thi k sedan bumper is different.
  5. You should be ok. If it's dry inside and working properly then you should be fine 🙂
  6. I'd speak to Audi if it needs a software update.
  7. Was the battery coded to the car? I think we can assume it's not the battery then in theory.
  8. As Steve has pointed out i think you'll need to clear the old fault codes. Make a note of them though. The do another scan. Has it done it since? I mean it could be an egr, dpf or turbo issue.
  9. Ah I'd missed that Steve!
  10. Steve Q replied to Hawks's topic in Audi Q7 Club
Might be worth doing a diagnostic check. Could the part you've fitted be defective.
  11. They shouldn't be charging you. The cars under warranty and the part failed because of another part failure which is under warranty. Clearly there's an issue with the adblue systems on the q8. My advice would be to speak to Audi customer services or the motoring ombudsman. Also if you bought the car on finance then it might be worth contacting the finance company stating the car isn't fit for purpose explaining your case.
  12. Glad its helped you. Fingers crossed it sorts it 🙂
  13. With the amount of electric faults logged I'm wondering how old the battery is? As a failing battery can flag up all sorts of electrical issues. Is the car driving normally?
  14. Great info! Have you got a recommended link to the stickers or fuel coupons?
  15. Sorry to hear of your issue. You could speak to the motoring ombudsman.
  16. I'd recommend a diagnostic check. It could be an issue with the CCM.
  17. It may take time. I know Audi have had issues with the system.
  18. It may well have done, as I believe the A1 model is being discontinued shortly.
  19. Glad we could help 🙂
  20. Doesn't sound like it's fitted. Speak to autologics as a few members have used them for retrofits. I can't speak for the b9 but I know the retrofit on the A6 c5 requires a relay, wiring harness, mirrors with the correct motors built in & the updated mirror switch. I suspect you'll need all this plus it being coded to the car.
  21. It should be on a sticker in the spare wheel well. Alternatively it should be on the inside front cover of your service book.
  22. Make sure the quattro system has been serviced if due. Also check tyres are the same on each axle and tread is the same level. As miss matched tyres or uneven tread wear can damage the quattro system. I'm assuming its auto as such check to see if it's had a service. As the s tronic/dsg gearboxes can fail to change gears if oil is degraded.
  23. Don't know any in Essex but the main ones for vag cars are Revo, darkside developments & viezu.
