  1. Definitely sounds like dpf and or egr. You can try and clean it by removing it. Alternatively you can get a garage to do a forced regeneration. But ultimately you might need a new dpf or egr or both.
  2. Definitely have a look at YouTube buyers guides. I believe these engine have a timing chain. And not all garages want to work on them when this job is needed. Always check service history as it shouldn't be skimpt on.
  3. Nice one! That makes two of us 🙂
  4. Think you'll need new ballast modules.
  5. When I had mine done on my c5 V6 it cost around £600.
  6. Have you had a diagnostic check? Also have you checked the new battery to see if it's dead. If so then there could be a battery drain.
  7. Tickets have now gone on sale 🙂 I've just bought mine 🙂
  8. I've just booked my tickets for the show 🙂
  9. It's advisable. My advice would be to ring round abd get quotes from various garages. Including other Audi franchises.
  10. DAB

You could upgrade the headunit with one that's got apple car play etc.
  11. No probs at all glad I could help 😊
  12. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ☺️
  13. As you say could be an engine or gearbox mount. Had something similar on my wife's jag last month. It needed two engine mounts. As in your case you could see the engine move.
  14. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  15. I'd definitely recommend a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up.
  16. Haynes I'm sure do one if tiu check the website. Alternatively you could try the Bentley manuals.
  17. This is really bad. The only way you'd get anywhere is reporting it to trading standards but with witness statements from the mechanics at the garage. And from the garage that fixed it.
  18. Oi lol. To be fair it's been a reliable daily. The Audi is in semi retirement lol.
  19. My advice would be to get it booked in for audi to adjust the boot. I had something similar on a ford kuga
  20. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ☺️ you could always look at a replacement glovebox on ebay too.
  21. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the allroad is a lovely car
  22. Very true. It's annoying when a new car doesn't meet expectations
  23. Usually when the garage want to charge you an OTT price it often means they don't want the work. My advice would be to look for either an Audi specialist or German car specialist
  24. Definitely have a look at buyers guides on YouTube. Air suspension is the biggest issue. Especially when the cars get older.
