should be fuse 34 (15A) in the fuse holder at the end of the dash. It will almost certainly be the amp itself that has partly failed due to the usual corrosion problem with the pins of one or more of the amplifier chips. Best thing u can do is strip the amp down and clean the legs of the chips, i would also install a plastic guard infromt of the amp to protect it from water coming in behind the passenger light. cheers Steve
  2. You're welcome. Might be worth you ringing the aa as they can often get doors open etc without causing damage.
  3. You're welcome, glad I could help 🙂
  4. This link will help: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/316141-B7-seats-in-a-B6 Cheers Steve
  5. How weird. Wondering if there's an issue with a coil pack or maf sensor? Cheers Steve
  6. My only other recommendation would be looking on eBay for used parts. Sorry if I'm telling you how to suck eggs as you work in the motor trade. Cheers Steve
  7. Sorry to hear of your issues. This video might help regarding the boot: Cheers Steve
  8. That's good then, keep us posted on how you get on 👍 Cheers Steve
  9. Yea using it for a bike rack shouldnt be too bad but I wonder if you could get questioned at mot time or if you get pulled by the police how ever likely that would be. I have to say it to air on the side of caution. Here's a Towbar guide that might be useful: https://autoevoke.com/index.php?/forums/topic/8998-types-of-tow-bars/&tab=comments#comment-9088 Cheers Steve
  10. I'd definitely be speaking to Audi regarding the engine issue to see if yours is affected before buying a turbo. I'd also recommend getting a second opinion from another garage for piece of mind before splashing out. Cheers Steve
  11. You certain it's not a wiring issue, poor/corroded connectors etc? Unusual for both rear light units to fail together I'd say. Cheers Steve
  12. Nice wheels on yours 👍 My dad did have a white a3 8v for a while too.
  13. Hi Thomas, welcome to the forum. What engine is in your b7? If you can't find one that's specific to the b7 I bet you can fi d one that's been fitted to other VAG vehicles as most engines were shared across the VAG range. Also here's a guide to fitting an induction kit. The process is fairly straightforward 👍 https://autoevoke.com/index.php?/forums/topic/4181-fitting-an-induction-kit/&tab=comments#comment-4224 Cheers Steve
  14. Yea I've seen the s3 one with a Towbar fitted. I believe certain companies are being a little naughty. The s3 isn't rated for a Towbar due to the quattro system but obviously the bodyshell/chassis is the same. However the reason why I say manufacturers are being naughty is that they're fitting towbars when the cars aren't rated and getting owners to sign a disclaimer that it'll only be used for off road use.

  17. If it were my car is be leaving it with Audi for a few days untill the fault is found. Cheers Steve
  18. If it's not activated then it'll have to be plugged in at Audi to have it activated. Audi UK have to plug the car direct into a computer linked to Audi Germany. Be prepared it's not cheap!
  19. Think you'd be ok to carry on with it. Have you decided if you're repairing the a3 turbo issue? Cheers Steve
