  1. Here's mine: First car 1993 Ford escort lx with various RS accessories. Still have it and was used as my wedding transport 😊 Next was a Suzuki swift. Great little car my brother now owns and has been to various jap events. My Audi a6 which my dad bought new in 2002. And finally my current daily a Ford kuga
  2. Hello Adrian, my advice would be to take the car to your Audi dealer as it'll still be under warranty. Cheers Steve
  3. My advice would be to try and get a 2nd hand sensor off eBay or breakers in the same colour. If you get one from audi otl need spraying and they'll probably charge you for a complete sensor. Cheers Steve
  4. I would have thought you should be nok with 17" rims without a problem. Cheers Steve
  5. I think you'll need the s3 or rs3 slam panel. Cheers Steve
  6. Obviously you can break your grill to get access to it or you can take o/s/f wheel arch cover off. There should be a connector block were it joins to the cable coming from the latch to the release hand cable. (2section) cant mind were it is but its in that vicinity somewere. cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Steve, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 😊 Looks a lovely looking a4 and beautiful colour. Not sure if those parts are genuine Audi or not tbh. Cheers Steve
  8. Engines are easily tuneable with a remap and the dsg gearbox is great and best auto on the market. Make sure it's been serviced ras per serving intervals. If the gear changes aren't smooth or isn't engaging gears this can be caused by old gearbox oil at the very least. Quattro is useful when loss if traction but for general use 2wd is fine. Also make sure all tyres match and tread wear is even as uneven tyre wear can damage the system. Electronic handbrakes are easy to get used to, when you get the biting point the handbrake automatically releases but has to be engaged manually. Hope I've helped Cheers Steve
  9. 18" I think you'll get away with.
  10. You're most welcome 👍
  11. You keep safe too 🙂
  12. You're welcome 😊 and with that power I'm not surprised it moves 😉 Would be great to see your car at shows when they start up again 👍 Cheers Steve

    Not a problem 😊
  14. I'd check any issues with the roof as well as the scuttle panel to see if water is getting in through either of those. Cheers Steve
  15. That's fully understandable too in light of the current situation. Keep us posted on how you get on with your search. Cheers Steve

Hi Simon, what colour is the smoke? White smoke would indicate head gasket and black smoke could indicate egr/dpf I think. Cheers Steve
  19. I'm wondering if this is either an imobiliser issue. Have you tried starting it with the spare key? Cheers Steve
  20. I'm wondering if there an issue with the alarm module. My dad had a similar issue on his Mercedes and he had to have a new alarm module which rectified the issue. Cheers Steve

Not too clued up on wiring but think they'll be two wires running from the handle to the catch. You're welcome, hope you get the issue sorted soon 😊 Cheers Steve
