  1. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sorry to hear of your issue. I'd recommend you get a second opinion. If it is the transmission module I'd recommend looking on eBay even at international sellers. Bare in mind the part would have to be coded to the car.
  2. Could it be a blocked silencer?
  3. Yep it's deliberately done. Some EU law that required day time running lights.
  4. Thanks for the update. Hope you make good progress over the next few days 🙂
  5. You could also get the instrument cluster sent off to be accessed. Think it'll cost £250ish got a repair if found faulty
  6. I think you'll find a brand new genuine bumper will be very expensive. Have you spoken to a bodyshop to see if the bumper can be repaired?
  7. Glad you got some sort of resolution. It's frustrating that Audi and other manufacturers like to deny issues and wash their hands of the engineering once it's out of warranty.
  8. Some of these cheap turbos are known to last no more than a year. I'm finding getting some new genuine parts is becoming hard to come by especially some Interior trim and mechanical components
  9. Should be the in the same place I think.
  10. I think it'll be in the same place as in the A4.
  11. Yep I'd recommend getting the code cleared. Plus the bcm might need coding to the car.
  12. Could the misfire be caused by the maf?
  13. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Could the whine be the turbo? I would look at changing the drivers door electric window switch. Bonnet catch should just need to be adjusted. Or might need replacing. The LCD screen area known to fail, this could be the reason you're not seeing mpg etc. They can be replaced for around £250.

  15. I'd highly recommend getting it to a conventional garage specifically an Audi specialist or as Steve says a VAG specialist.
  16. I'd recommend a diagnostic check first to see if any fault codes flag up
  17. I do think you need a diagnostic check or get a garage to take a look over it as something clearly isn't right
  18. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  19. Hi Terry, you've done a great deal with diagnostics there so well done. It could be the module, but it could also be the switch itself especially if one touch feature isn't working. It could also be the relay may be? I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up if you haven't already
  20. Wow thanks for the update. Audi's love to let water in that way.
  21. No probs at all 🙂
  22. This is my worry, I appreciate my A6 isn't as old but they're determined to kill off older Audi's that's got sure. Have you tried Audi heritage?
  23. Make sure the haladex quattro system is well serviced. The man to speak to is jack Phillips. He's knowledgeable about TTs
