Did you buy the car from a private individual or a dealership?
If it were a dealership then I'd be taking it back for them to access it.
Ive found this thread which might offer some help:

I do appreciate it's a hard decision. From personal experience of spending a lot of money on old cars I always we t off the philosophy better the devil you know if it's been reliable up till now. The problem you'll have is either scrap, sell or repair the vehicle and you'll have to weigh up which the most financially viable option is for you.
Sorry I can't help more.
Cheers

Any b8 rack should fit. Here's a link to them on eBay but genuine baudi dealership. So you could always message to confirm they fit prior to purchasing:

I suspect it'll be located at the top of tank and will require not trim or rear seats to be removed to get at it. Usually fuel senders are bolted to the top of the tank and easy to remove once access is gained.

Think you've got your work cut out there and unable to help. Sorry. I'd be getting alternative quotes to make sure you're not being ripped off.

I'd agree sound and comfort make more sense. The other thing you need to work out is if you need the space from an estate bad your first two choices are estates but the a5 will have less room.

In effect ba filter is a filter abd you'd need one that has the same airflow capabilities or better. The main problem you.kight have is the maf mounting point will probably be different from the petrol and at which point it won't work.
