My advice would be to look at getting a second hand gearbox. Do you know why it's failed? Has it been serviced when needed.

Had a response, it is t going to be this 🌄 nth as they've had low numbers agreeing to meet up. Suspected die to covid as a lot of their members are older generation. I've asked John to keep me posted ☺️

Well VAG has been using them since the 60s. I believe the beetle was the first be to have it.

I can completely understand where you're coming from, and I'm surprised Audi didn't offer it as an option to you. My other advice would look at getting nit fitted by a professional retrofitter. Most of whom are former VAG employees

PalaceSorry to hear a replacement unit didn't solve it. Has it been coded to the car? (If applicable).Have you got any links to the ones you're looking at? Also the standard CD player is fitted in the glovebox, you could always look into getting one fired to your a4 from an auto electrician or ICE specialist.
