  1. It'll depend if the sideskirts are different. Here's a link to the mudflaps: https://www.audipartsdirect.co.uk/product/audi-a3-s-line-front-mud-flap-set-8v3075116
  2. You're welcome, keep us posted on how you get on.
  3. Good point I'm not sure. I think you're going to have to bite the bullet and just get it to a garage.
  4. You'll be surprised, and if they're reluctant fight them on it. A part like that shouldn't go either in or just out of warranty. Plus as you can see there's now a few documented cases which you and Audi are both aware of.
  5. Welcome to the forum Jack, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 That is a lovely colour 👍 definitely agree on matching it up with the fuel filler flap will really set the car off 👍
  6. Yea I'd definitely be getting the gearbox oil checked and replaced as that often throws up faults like this.
  7. Glad it worked 👍
  8. Welcome to the forum Robert, youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Can't offer any recommendations unfortunately but my advice would be to go into Halfords or similar and see what they offer. Atleast you'll know what they sell is road legal 👍 Cheers Steve
  9. It's to do with the turbo and actuator. My advice would be to get the actuator repaired/replaced and the turbo inspected. Cheers Steve
  10. You're welcome, good idea speaking to his mechanic. It is a little worrying because if it was just lost then why wasn't it replaced? Definitely a good example of cutting corners if you see what I mean. Cheers Steve
  11. I would be very careful about grinding near the fuel flap. You can try and break it off but I bet it'll give up more of a fight than you think. If you can remove the interior yourself then you'll save tine/money on labour. Cheers Steve
  12. Fantastic. The mk4 is a brilliant car. My mum's is only on 114k.
  13. There's should still be some discount due to the fact the car is just out of warranty. You'll have to argue with them unfortunately. Cheers Steve
  14. You're welcome, please keep us posted on how you get on. When my brother wanted to fit a different tailpipe the garage had to cutthe old one off due to corrosion. Cheers Steve
  15. That seems dodgy to me. I worked at vw a d never saw that. Has someone lost it and sealed it I wonder? Or has the engine overheated at some point causing the dipstick to bend etc? If be checking the service thoroughly in my opinion. Cheers Steve
  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 lovely a4 cab by the way. Cheers Steve
  17. You're welcome 🙂 that's a hard one as they seem a very rare wheel. To buy a new one costs $230 in the US and seen used sets going for $400. So I'd suspect £200-400 depending on condition abd tyres that go with them. This is just a guess mind. Lovely golf btw, my mum had a mk4 in black gttdi she got new and still has it. What spec is yours?

  19. The wiring harness will be hit or.miss but.less likely to be there. I'd.lok at a retrofitting company to be honest.
  20. You're welcome, glad I could help 🙂 buying ones that fit over the original might be easier to be honest.
  21. This'll help: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/audi-exhaust-trim-fitting-instructions.210237/ Cheers Steve
