  1. Hi Chris, yes they should fit but you'll need to have your tracking done afterwards. Cheers Steve
  2. The concern is, if an MOT tester finds the dpf is false then I suspect you could end up with big fines. Plus I suspect this would void your insurance. Cheers Steve
  3. It should have unlocked the driver's door at least. I surprised it didn't. Cheers Steve
  4. Thanks for the heads up Ralph 🙂 ill pin this so other members can find it easier. Cheers Steve
  5. Welcome to the forum Simon, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 cheers Steve
  6. I would have thought if it was turbo related you would be hearing whining or hesitation during acceleration in my opinion. Cheers Steve
  7. Hi Chris when you say have the dpf and egr done, do you mean remove? If so it'll be an mot failure if you remove the dpf. With regards to the remap you should get good bhp gains but you must make sure your car is well maintained and any mechanical issues sorted otherwise it could affect the cars reliability. Cheers Steve
  8. Welcome to the forum Peter, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 cheers Steve
  9. Sorry to hear of your issue. You've done well to get a good proportion off so far and I'd be definitely pushing for more. I totally agree that a 3 and half year old cat shouldnt have issues with the timing chain (depending on mileage obviously). As it's a known fault, in an ideal world Audi should pay the whole bill but this was probably very unlikely. Cheers Steve
  10. You're welcome, you'd be surprised how many electrical issues can be traced back to the battery. Cheers Steve
  11. When I've had this on my a6 with the same radio I just turn down the volume. There isnt any other way of doing it I believe. Cheers Steve

    Dvd Fuse

Besides the fuseboxes you've mentioned there aren't any others I don't believe. My advice would be to get an auto electrician take a look at them. Cheers Steve
  13. You shouldn't have to cut the bumper bfor a swan neck or detachable type. Cheers Steve
  14. Hi Richard there isn't a secondary battery. My advice would be to get your actual car battery checked as it could be on it's way out if it's the original. Halfords can do a battery check for you to make sure it's providing enough umph. Cheers Steve
  15. Hi Andy, these are common issues on Audi's from this era. My a6 suffered the same with the cupholder. Needless to say I had to replace it as repairing it wasn't an option. Cheers Steve
  16. Why would anyone do that. Someone should have cabletied a trolly to his door handles
  17. You're welcome 🙂 If a sensor has failed then it should be picked up on the diagnostic check. Worst case scenario someone might have hit you. Cheers Steve
  18. You're welcome 🙂
  19. Yep I agree with Piotr, it definitely needs a diagnostic check.
  20. Now the calibra is a blast from the past. My mum had 2 of them and they were good cars. Definitely a future classic 🙂 cheers Steve
  21. Hi Lynne, assuming you've checked the fuses and had the battery checked my advice would be to either get a diagnostic check carried out or get an auto electrician have a look.
