  1. No worries. Sorry I can't help more. When it has happened to me on other manufacturers cars I found it was under the dash. I wonder if it's the lower dash vents? On a Suzuki I found the draft coming from around the centre console and tunnel tray (near the handbrake). But never got to the bottom exactly on this one!
  2. You're welcome. I've also come Audi USA which give you part numbers and schematics :) Here's the thread I put up earlier: I found this website when looking for info on another members problem with their a5 :) Hope it helps :) Cheers Steve
  3. Glad I could help :) Having time on.yiur side is always good :) full service history definitely helps with a car like this. Whereas dents can be rectified :) Keep.us posted on how you get on :) Cheers Steve
  4. Time permits are the key words in.that sentence!! You've still.got a couple of months till shows start anyway :)
  5. Glad you're getting there Paul :) glad you've found working on your a6 an enjoyable one (on the whole!) Cheers Steve
  6. Hi David, welcome to the forum. You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) sorry to hear of your issue. I've never experienced it with an Audi before but have experienced it with Fords and certain Japanese cars before. As your a3 is going in for a recall it might be worth you asking Audi to have a look got you. They'll also do a free health check on the car when it goes in. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers :) Steve
  7. Hi Glyndon sorry to hear of your sat nav issue. I've found these couple of YouTube videos which may help. Cheers Steve
  8. Welcome to the forum Jason, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) As Paul has said, a diagnostic check would be a good idea. But to be fair it could be as simple as the battery on it's way out. It might be worth you getting your battery tested. When batteries start to fail they can cause all sorts of electrical issues including power steering issues. Has the car battery gone flat at all? Cheers Steve
  9. Here's a link to Audi USA parts page. You can search any part you.need and even has the schematics :) https://parts.audiusa.com Cheers Steve
  10. Hi Gary, sorry to hear about this. I've found this website which may help: https://parts.audiusa.com Audi USA seem more willing to help than the European counterparts! Hope I've helped Cheers :) Steve
  11. Hi Ben, It might be worth.yku getting a diagnostic check carried out. But I'd guess it could be the turbo or leaking pipe. Leaking pipes are easy to fix however if it's the turbo then it'll be expensive. My sister had a similar issue on her golf mk4 1.9tdi 115bhp and some of the blades within the turbo had broken. This was preventing her having the acceleration when she needed it. After the new turbo was fitted the car has been fine ever since. Hope I've helped Cheers :) Steve
  12. Hi Alan, Here are some pics I've found online, I appreciate they are not all your model but they'll give you an idea :) Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  13. Hi Steve, Sorry to hear about this. I've had a look online and haven't found a part number. Sorry. On looking on eBay there seem to be undertrays for sale in there. It might be worth you asking Audi for the part number. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  14. Welcome to the forum Jason, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) A fellow member.asked this the other day. Here is the thread: Cheers Steve

  16. Hi David, Paul is right it could be the hoses. One other suggestion is that it could be the washer bottle at fault. I appreciate my a6 is a c5 but I've had the washer bottle split on me recently which had to be replaced. No reason as to why it split though. Cheers Steve
  17. You're welcome :) that's what I've had done on my bumpers
