  1. Yep! We have plenty of events for 2018 I've just not updated this thread. Our first show is at Beaulieu in April.
  2. Welcome to the forum Ian, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) When you say service history, I'm assuming it's not full? Obviously check that all electronic items work as some of them can be costly to fix. This also goes for the air con as compressors etc aren't cheap to replace. If the car is manual check for a heavy clutch or if it's slipping as you'll have to factor in a new clutch in the near future. If it's auto make sure the gears change smoothly in auto and manual mode as any faults can be expensive to fix. Here's a YouTube video which may help: Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  3. Hi Cameron, the short answer is no as I believe the wiring won't be there for the controls. If it can be done then I suspect you will need to program the steering wheel to the car. Cheers Steve
  4. Hi Reece, First thing I'd try is changing the fob batteries. In failing that i would get a diagnostic check carried out. I wonder if the door lock mechanism is failing on the drivers door. I believe the drivers door lock mechanism controls the rest of the central locking system. I had an auto electrician fix my a6 which had a similar issue for £120. Obviously if it's not that then I'd say it's the module. Cheers Steve
  5. My weekend starts after 4pm today! But going out tonight which will be nice :) What beer you on.this weekend Paul?
  6. Welcome to the forum Tom, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Thank.yku for the nice comments about the forum :) Cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Sorry to hear you've lost your keys. Without ringing around various auto locksmiths my only other advice would be to see Audi. But they will charge you alot for a new key. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  8. It also depends what the service history and mileage is like. Have you got any pictures which will help us have a better idea? One thing to say, if it's yellow then it's rare and is most likely Dakar yellow which was a special order colour. There is a 2004 one on eBay with 62k and in very good condition. Same colour, engine and leather interior for £3750 So Id say, hypothetically if it's in good condition with a blown turbo I'd say offer around 2k. I could be wrong with my valuation though. Cheers Steve
  9. Here are pictures of Erez a3. Erez is a fellow member who lives in Israel. Cheers Steve
  10. Sorry, I should have been more specific. You can plug a connection for the aux into the back of the radio and then fit the aux socket can be installed on the dash. A good place to fit.the aux socket is in one of the switch blanking plates near to the esp light. So the first pic shows the blanking plates below the left air vent. As you can also see, once the radio is out of the dash you can plug the aux connection in the back. The second pic shows the type of aux you can fit. I've also found this YouTube video which may help. I'm assuming you don't have satnav. Do both front windows not work or just one? Great pics! I'll add them to our Audi's from around the world thread :) Cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Erez, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I believe you can plug an aux into the back of the radio :) In terms of parts eBay might be a good idea :) We would love to see pictures of your a3 in Israel! :) Cheers Steve
  12. Welcome to the forum Kevin, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Sounds a very nice spec of A7 you're going to look at :) Is the car for sale at a garage or private seller? Obviously have a look at the service history and ideally this should be full. Also make sure that the gear changes are smooth both in auto and manual mode as any faults can be expensive to fix. Also make sure that all electronic items work as these too can be expensive to put right. One key area to look at are tyres. Are they the same make and I'd the tread wear the same? I ask this as the Quattro system can be sensitive and can be damaged by uneven tyre wear. Joined with this be careful if the car as Dunlop maxx tyres. There have been cases on here of the splitting. Here's the thread for more info: It's also worth getting an independent inspection carried out by companies such as the AA or RAC. If the seller is reluctant or refuses to have the inspection carried out then you have to wonder what they or the car has to hide. Here are also a couple of YouTube videos which may also help: This one has English subtitles a7 review Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
