Mechanically AMK and BAM are the same... I'd check your fuses and in failing that you could take off the boot panel to inspect the rear wiper motor and check with a multimeter. Cheers Steve

Not a problem 😊 Usually start/stop not working can come down to a failing battery. As the system will only turn the engine off if there's plenty of charge in the battery abd the engine is up to an adequate temperature. As the car doesn't want to run the risk of turning off abd not starting again. Let's hope the battery resolved the issue 👍 Cheers Steve

Before a remap is carried out it's best to have the car fully serviced and in fine fettle. Did he not say what was blocked? Or air, fuel, oil systems etc. Cheers Steve

Removal of a gearbox can be a big job depending on what model of car it is. I bet they're playing it safe mind. A clutch shouldnt go at 27k under normal driving conditions. If the pedal has gone to the floor then I'd agree with the AA diagnosis. What I'll suspect they'll do if they find it's the hydraulic system, replace the relevant part under then try and get you to pay for a new clutch. As it's under warranty this should be changed anyway as there would be no point fitting a used clutch but Audi should pay this. I'd wait to see what they come back and say the problem is. Also I trust you have a copy of the AA report as evidence if required? Cheers Steve

Hi there, I believe it's the bulb failure light. My advice would be to check to see if a bulb has blown. If it's a brake light then it'll bing at you when you press the brake too. Cheers Steve

If you're asking what mods are available on the 2.5tdi then you'll be disappointed as I don't believe there's many. You could always fit an induction kit, sports exhaust and a remap. I know on the a6 c5 which have this engine on a original tune of tune of either 150bhp (like mine) or in Quattro form/allroad had 180bhp. But the 180bhp variant had an updated fuel pump I believe. If you've got 150bhp version then you might need the upgraded fuel pump if you want to go beyond 180. Cheers Steve
