  1. Hi Yasin, tints will cost more but will improve the look of your Audi. Whereas the sunshades can be bought cheaply and you may even find d a set of genuine Audi ones on eBay. The shades will prevent the glare of the sun better than tints in my opinion. Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Chris, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 unfortunately there isn't much you can do with the cruise control I'm affraid. I too experienced the same issue when driving the current Passat. Naturally it slows down sooner for safety.
  3. You're welcome Richard, sorry I couldn't help more. Cheers Steve
  4. Welcome to the forum Steven, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 my thoughts are the same as you and would say the indicator stalk is the likely culprit. cheers Steve
  5. Welcome to the forum Matthew. Unfortunately I think you'll have to see Audi if you can't source one via eBay or breakers yards. Cheers Steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Chris, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. Have you ruled out the key by testing the fob boot button on the spare key? I wonder if it's the key that's at fault rather than the car. Cheers Steve
  7. Hi George have you got a less zoomed in pic? I'm assuming these are attached to the slam panel? Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forum David, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 The short answer is yes. It's the common trend nowadays to prolong the life of a model. I suspect they'll do this at the 5-6 year mark depending on how the rest of the Audi range is looking at the time of day lift. If that makes sense. Cheers Steve
  9. Sorry to hear this Joe. It's infuriating when it happens, yet so easily done!
  10. Is that not the fan wiring? Have you got any other pics of it in relation to the engine bay. If that makes sense? Cheers Steve
  11. Hard job you do and we all owe for that. Our armed forces don't get enough thanks in my opinion!
  12. Hi Richard welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. I don't believe there is any other option from Audi but I wouldn't be surprised if the volkswagen jets fit! Cheers Steve
  13. My advice is go with the 2.0tdi as I find the 2.6 Abit under powered. My advice is to test drive both but if it we're me I'd be choosing an a4. Also check to see if the cars you're looking at have had the emissions recall carried out and if so when. If the car is for sale right after having it done then there could be trouble! Cheers Steve
  14. Welcome to the forum Norm, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the issue you describe is a common one unfortunately. Your only options is to find a second hand board with the sunroof option and eBay US might be better as the sunroof model was more popular there than in Europe I believe. Or see if Audi still sell them. You're correct your a6 is a c5. cheers Steve
  15. Welcome to the forum Ray, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 cheers Steve
  16. Same here to be honest Paul but 3rd place would be good 🙂
  17. You're welcome mate, I hope the claim for the £30 comes Swiftly and they don't mess you around. Cheers Steve
  18. Wow, I'm sorry you've had this Graeme. I can't say I've heard of a rodent scarer for a car either but I suspect you can get it cheaper than the price you've been quoted. Cheers Steve
  19. Hi LaBelle, I believe you are correct 🙂 ylu could also get a pollen filter too 😉 cheers Steve
  20. Result! Glad it was something straight forward 🙂 cheers Steve
  21. Exactly Paul! We slacked off after we scored in my opinion and it's cost us dearly. Now our main concern is to beat Belgium for 3rd place
  22. Well 2 are owned by staff, Paul and Edd and one by a regular contributer Piotr They are rare but I very desirable model
  23. Not a problem Reece, just glad you got to the bottom of the issue 🙂 cheers Steve
  24. Hi Sam hypothetically yes but you'll need to make sure the gearbox will be compatible and you have the correct engine mounts and probably will need to modify the loom. Cheers Steve
  25. Hi Reece, My first question would be to see when the gearbox oil was last changed. Also if other gears are working properly then I wonder if it's a gear linkage that's failed. Cheers Steve
