  1. I second cliffs advice. To add though, you could take it to a specific tuning company like darkside developments, again it'll be expensive but sure they'll find the problems.
  2. How strange. Definitely worth getting an auto electrican to take a look.
  3. That's not on, usually these things don't just go away in my opinion.
  4. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 has the AA done a diagnostic check?
  5. You're welcome, it's bad when Audi can't get to the bottom of it.
  6. If bought within 30 days get it back to them asap as they have to fix it for you as you're entitled to a full refund up to 30 days. If it's over 30 days then speak to Audi if you're luck is on your side and have some manufacturers warranty left.
  7. I'd definitely recommend a diagnostic check. Unfortunately I think this could be a job for the main dealer.

Have you got a pic of it? The grill, headlights and where the wingmirrors are situated are different from b8-b9 as per these pics.
  9. An auto electrican would be able to confirm if it was aftermarket. Alternatively if you remove one of the sensors then this should have an Audi part number on it if genuine
  10. Good luck, my advice would be to try eBay or put an enquiry on one of the breaker sites.
  11. Definitely contact the dealer as the new cameras fitted will have a 12 month warranty on their own regardless of the cars warranty status.
  12. you could always ring your local dealer and ask to check for you. If you explain the circumstances I'm sure they'd be more than obliging 🙂
  13. Known faults on VAG cars. Could be the float is stuck. Which needs the rank has to be drained and assessed. I'd recommend a diagnostic check as a fault code will flag up for a stuck float etc.
  14. Yep you're right, the blade has to be cut and electronics coded. Audi will want £300 at least. An independent company Neill charge around £150. shop around as prices vary 👍
  15. You've done a great amount of diagnostic work 👍 might be worth considering the switch (I'm assuming nits electronic parking brake) or have an auto electrican to take a look at the wiring.
  16. Very nice. Nope 6 speed manual. It certainly is lol. But we have had it from new so it's sentimental. Not going to lie not need some cosmetics but whilst she's still doing major road trips I said I wouldn't do the bodywork as guaranteed id have Ito done up then someone would crash into it on a roadtrip. I've got it set up on Instagram and Twitter if you're on there. It has a Facebook page too but I'm still setting that up. I'm off to Germany in less than two weeks to take it back to where it was built 🙂

Could also be a failed antenna.
  18. Im wondering if this could be down to worn engine or gearbox mounts which is making the engine/gearbox move which is then moving parts out of alignment?
  19. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Running on veg oil is good as long as the conversion has been done properly. No there shouldn't be an egr but it will have a catalytic converter.
  20. I'd recommend a diagnostic check for the sensors. It could either be a faulty sensor or the module. You could.inspect the wiring to make sure.non.of it's loose.
  21. This looks awesome! Nice mods list. The b6 Avant was definitely my favourite a4 model shape.
  22. Have a look for local retrofitters. I believe you'll need the new stalk and it'll need to be coded to the car. It's not a hard job to do apparently so retrofitters or even an auto electrican could not it.
  23. I'd recommend you look at buyers guides on YouTube. Check service history, has the Cambelt and water pump been changed on time as this will cost you £500-600. If an auto has the gearbox oil been changed on time as old oil can affect the b's tronic gearbox from changing gear properly. Are all tyres matching on the same axle as uneven tyre brands or wear can affect and damage the quattro system. Has the quattro system been serviced? Does the AC work? If not and it's the compressor this can be a £1000 job. If xenon lights do they work properly? And do all other electrical systems and items work?
