  1. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  2. If I remember correctly the a1 vents are the same as the a3 round vents and as you say it's hard to clip anything to them. I wonder if there's anything universal out there that stocks to the dash.
  3. I'd get a regas abd leak test done, or a diagnostic check carried out to see if any fault codes flag up.
  4. If it can be done, then I think the setting can be found in the cars infotainment system.

    You're welcome 😊
  6. Such a shame as the d3 was a beautiful car. Unfortunately all cars are getting to dependent on electrical gadgetary in my opinion.
  7. Audi should not have do e this without your permission, fact. They have to have a signed form to say you agree to it, and it gets logged on a database. Did you sign anything when you dropped the car off? They say they cannot reverse it because I don't believe they are allowed to. The only cure is a independent remap if Audi won't do anything.
  8. I agree with Gareth and Kev, I'd be speaking to another Audi garage to see if the parts come standard. Gut feeling is that they do. Might be worth you looking at similar cars in eBay/autotrader to see if you can see the parts fitted to the majority of the cars you look at.
  9. Dog could be blocked. Best to get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up
  10. Not on the forum but I'd check youtube
  11. Yep I agree with Max it's a heat shield. They do come loose and then rattle on the exhaust. It'll need reattaching or replacing.
  12. I'd be speaking to Audi first as Gareth suggests. If you have to change the headlights I'd be looking at a second hand set from eBay or similar. You could also ask Audi to see if they can be adjusted to work in the uk.
  13. Hmm, did he disconnect the battery. My first thing to look at is a reset on the keys to see if the key abd car aren't talking to each other properly for some reason.
  14. Oo you have me stumped. To be fair I get the beep occasionally but never understood what it meant. It mainly happened to me when the engine was off but radio on so I assumed it meant the battery was low.
  15. Look fantastic! Glad they fitted 🙂 your a6 looks in great nick 👍
  16. Great work! Audi have no excuse now!
  17. I think that's standard and unless it's in the infotainment settings I don't believe it can be changed. Cheers Steve
  18. Yep they should be able to provide full Audi history on an approved used audi 👍 you might need to prove you're the owner and pop into the dealer. But speak to Audi on the phone first.
  19. I believe you are correct and it's just a bolt in job 👍 obviously with any interior you are looking at just make sure the airbag wiring matches yours and it hasn't been messed with 👍
  20. Could be an airlock or the ac control unit has had it. Are the rest of the functions working normally?
  21. Usually a lot of Audi and vag car airbag issues are due to a wire becoming loose under the passenger seat. I'd definitely check there first 👍
  22. Glad it's resolved ☺️ it can be disconcerting sometimes with all the different warning symbols Audi have.
  23. Wow. In my case it was routine Cambelt and water pump job which involves the front coming off. Then the lower pulley decided it had had enough afterwards so the front had to come off again! Oh and I then added isofix as subtle upgrade.
  24. You're welcome, please keep us posted 👍
