  1. I think if you're not willing to pursue a court case then I think your only option is to save up and get another garage take a look at repairing it. Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Ryan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Cheers Steve
  3. Definitely, all's well that's end well 🙂
  4. How very strange. I've never come across that before. Is it worth speaking to the garage that always looks after it to see if they can throw any light on it?
  5. Glad you've got the part number. It's sods law it's a rare airbag, I know that feeling when needing parts. Perseverance pays off 🙂 I'm all good thank you, how are you keeping? Cheers Steve
  6. If there's a musty smell I bet the battery drain holes in the scuttle panel- engine side bulkhead were clogged. Water then escapes through the holes in the bulkhead right where the CCM is ultimately frying it. Worth checking nthe area regularly to prevent it happening bargain. Worth noting a replacement CCM might need recoding to the car. But not 100% sure. Cheers Steve
  7. You're welcome 🙂
  8. Audi is your best bet. Your dealer should know if it's available to order.
  9. I think as long as the TPMS is reset you should be ok. But you're right about changing them in pairs. Cheers Steve
  10. Steve Q replied to Stirton's topic in Audi A5 Club
Are you doing the spraying your self or getting them professionally refurbed. Of it's the latter then they should be able to find out from Audi what the paint code is. Cheers Steve
  11. You could try a second hand part to see if that resolved the issue.
  12. Glad it's resolved. Sometimes the technology does have a tantrum occasionally.
  13. I'd look at Powerflow exhausts. My mates abd brother had them fitted to various cars and all were happy with the quality and note. Cheers Steve
  14. First option is more complicated and expensive than you think. It's more than just getting the head unit. Plus getting it retro fitted my by cost prohibitive. Second option could be a better for you. But either way I'd be getting a professional to do the install. Cheers Steve
  15. Could definitely be a belt if it goes away. I'd be getting them changed asap.
  16. This link might help 🙂 cheers Steve
  17. How odd. Has the car had any work on the instrument cluster at all? Cheers Steve
  18. I believe it's a case on easing the trim out. Cheers Steve
  19. You're welcome, hope they give you the answer you need 👍 Cheers Steve
  20. My advice would go with a new or reconditioned genuine item as there's a lot of cheap rubbish around. Cheers Steve
  21. I too had a search without too much success. If The control module has failed it can flag up multiple faults. You haven't got wet front carpets by any chance have you? Cheers Steve
  22. You're last resort if say is Audi I'm affraid. Cheers Steve
  23. Fingers crossed for you. To be fair if the a4 is anything like my a6 they are hard on suspension arms. Cheers Steve
  24. I'd take it to another garage for a second opinion and definitely keep on at trading standards. Cheers Steve
