  1. Thank you for viewing my advert. I am selling my Full Remus Non Resonated Cat Back Exhaust System. This was originally fitted to a 2013 Audi S4 (V6) saloon as a demonstration at a car show and had covered around 50 miles. I then purchased from the original buyer for my car. I drive a van as a daily so on my Audi this has covered a maximum of 50 miles. The exhaust is absolutely immaculate and is pretty much BRAND NEW; like I say its only covered a maximum of 100 miles. Reason for sale is that my Mrs will be using the car as a daily soon and so wants the OEM put back on. This exhaust fits the following Audi S4 & S5 cars (as also shown in photos):- Audi S4 B8 Quattro Saloon & Avant (3.0 TFSI V6) 2010=> Audi S5 Quattro Coupe, Typ 8T (4.2 FSI V8) 2007=> Audi S5 Quattro Coupe, Typ 8T 2011=> Audi S5 Quattro Sportback & Cabro, Typ 8T (3.0 TFSI V6) 2009=> I am based in Newcastle upon Tyne and would prefer this to be collected rather than posted. However, please contact me to discuss shipping options which I would need to look into depending on the circumstances. Depending on how far away you live, I may be happy to meet you somewhere to help out. Please drop me a message if interested, I am more than happy to send any further information or photos :). £950 Cheers guys! Andrew
  2. Hi guys, Does anyone have or know of a place to get a proper high quality rs grill for the audi s1 without the awful rs1 badge Thanks, Luke
  3. Hi, I have a 2009 Audi S4 B8 and the clutch is slipping so i need a new one. I bought the car modified so don't know the exact mods. I know it has high torque racing pulleys on the super charger from MRC. I think MRC did a custom map on it, so i don't know if i need a stage 1 or stage 3 clutch. I do have a dyno showing about 490BHP and 400lb/ft torque. Please can someone advise me of what sort of clutches i need to be looking at as a replacement? Thanks, James.
  4. Good Afternoon all, Just wanted to say hello to everyone after purchasing my 64 plate Audi S1 earlier this week! I've moved away from a 3.0si BMW Z4 Coupe, needing something more practical for work and here I am now! The photos attached show the new beast that I've bought, alongside my old Z4! The S1 has only done 36000 miles and is really highly specked with: Super sports seats. Upgraded alloys. Flat bottom steering wheel. Technology pack. Design pack. Yellow stitched interior. Bose speaker system, plus much more! At £17000 I thought this was an absolute steal coming in with only 3 owners, 2 of which being from the same family! Let me know what you all think! Luke
  5. Hi all, First timer here. Just got myself an A3 TDI S-line Sportback in black on black with the diamond cut wheels. Looking forward to good chats and advice on the forum. Cheers, James
  6. Hi all Just bought an A4 convertible with a dodgy roof. Guy has had it sitting for a while and stated that the roof did work before but doesn't now. upon getting the car home the 6 week old battery didn't hold a charge and left me stranded outside the chippy. heres the facts.... 1. central locking doesn't work 2. windows don't work 3. roof is dead 4. interior lights don't work 5. soft top warning keeps saying its not shut Ok, a little faultfinding tonight however I do believe the comfort control module is at fault here with all these issues. 1. the thick red wire going into the pump is getting a constant 12v even when the ignition is off. seems strange to me but I'm not an audi engineer 2. all the fuses are intact 3. replaced battery however I do think there is a draw coming from somewhere to have killed the last battery (thank god for Halfords warranty and an owner that kept receipts) 4. pump looks totally dry (moisture wise) but without a more in depth diagnostic machine we couldn't run it 5. vag com says that fuse 30 was open circuit - could have just us dicking about with it. Are we on the right track here? the comfort control module surely does all these things. I've bought a pump to be belt and braces but these things are around £180 second hand
  7. Hey guys, It's time for a new car! I had an S3 a couple of years back but unfortunately due to a change in circumstance it had to go... But I've landed myself a new job and I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of an Audi again I've decided on the A3 sportback 2.0 TDI 150 Black Edition, with the Tech pack and the Comfort pack. I just can't decide on colour! Brilliant Black or is the Mythos worth the extra £550? Any thoughts or recommendations about my choices are welcomed Any other black editions on the forum? I'd love to see your cars! Vince

  9. Audi has announced two new models for the Q7 line up, the Vorsprung Edition and Black Edition The Vorsprung edition is available on the 3.0tdi models and the SQ7 and is special as it will have a lot of extras as standard, such as the parking assistance brake and driving assistance tour pack. It will also have special interior trim which includes Valcona leather seated sports seats, extra leather on the door panels and grab handles, head-up display and Audi phone box. On the outside, it will be fitted with 22" wheels. Prices : 3.0tdi £77,905 (some £25k more than the standard model) SQ7 £88,295 (some £15k over the standard SQ7) The other new model is the Black Edition, which is only available on the 3.0tdi and will have its own black paint and 21"wheels. On the inside, the Black Edition will come with a Valcona leather interior, adaptive suspension which has been lowered by 15mm and a panoramic sunroof. 10. My dad bought an SQ7 last month and the list price of his car was £88k without discounts etc. Today I found out about a model called the Audi SQ7 Quattro Vorsprung, I looked at the engine specs and it’s the same engine but this car is £86k from base. The CO2 is 199 against the 190 from the SQ7. Is there any major difference between these two? I thought that it might be possibly just be an SQ7 with specific extras chosen by Audi. Can somebody tell me the exact differences between the two?
  11. Good Afternoon, I'm new to the forum. I'm looking at a temporary run-around car at the weekend and would like some advice. Its a 2005 B6 Audi A4 3.0tdi S-Line Quattro, it has a full service history (not all main dealer), 200K miles, MOT till June 2018. Also, 18" RS6's, full 2 tone leather, dual climate control, rear park sensors, sat nav, on board computer, roof bars etc. £1,500.00 due to mileage. What is the major problems with these cars? should the oil pump have been replaced by now? what should i look out for in the service history? I've attached advert of the car in question, i'll likely do 7k mile maximum and be selling. I'll like bring a friends diagnostic computer with me and a mechanic if possible. Thanks Aaron Flanagan
  12. Hi All, I've bought 2012 (62 plates) Audi A4 2.0 TDI Technik. Really happy how it drives and with the general condition of the car. To be honest I took a huge risk buying this car as it had no service history and it is a Cat D car. The seller showed me pics of what happened to the car and it really was a minor damage, most people wouldn't even repair it probably, just a few medium dents. But I got it cheap and from my point of view, the car is in really good condition. It has 100K on the clock (only verified it by previous MOT readings.), Milano leather interior and etc. I've done around 500 miles on it now and so far so good. The only thing that worries me is MPG. I've driven in from Romford to Horsham (62 miles, mostly motorway) and the computer shows 52 mpg. I expected to get above 60mpg as I was really gentle and was driving with cruise control on at 70mph. I believe that this is because of huge 19 inch alloys from RS4 that the previous owner installed. I have 3g basic MMi and already ordered Bluetooth AMI adaptor from eBay as current bluetooth only allows me to make calls, but I want to stream music. I hope that by joining this forum I'll get a lot of new knowledge (I am completely new to VAG) and maybe even will start making my own contributions :) By the way, here it is:
  13. Hi All, I am very excited to have ordered my new A3 Sportback a couple of weeks ago. The 'YourAudi' tracker is currently saying that my build is expected to begin on 28th November, which I assume means delivery towards the end of December, which seems an awfully long time away!! (Patience is not my greatest virtue...) I was just wondering if anyone has ordered an A3 or any other model in recent times, and how accurate they found these dates to be? From a bit of googling it seems these dates can swing about fairly wildly? The dealer predicted delivery by the end of November when ordering.. Any info much appreciated! Many thanks, Rob
  14. Hello, I have a 2006 audi A4 with audi concert radio, I want to install an aux but all I can find is conversion kits to play it instead of the CD changer which my car doesnt have. Is there other ways ? Thanks
  15. Hi there, I know this question probably got asked so many times already but here it is again. I have an a3 8p 2005 standard model. 17. Hi guys I'm wanting to put upgraded H7 headlight bulbs in the low and high beams what's the best way to get them in as there is not a lot of room to work with and I have big hands so not good as I have already replaced the DRLs with LED replacement bulbs and they were a nightmare to do on the near side I had to remove the wheel and the arch cover to get to it but was still not ideal. Makes me wonder why car companies these days make it so difficult to do a so called easy job! Any help would be appreciated I have a 2012 a3 convertible cheers Bubba
  18. Months ago I had oil too up due to a cracked oil collier. 16/08/17 oil light came on I checked under car no leaks or anything obvious to save something's wrong. I checked dip stick an In fact it's on minimum oil level. Current mileage 104514. I've emailed the Audi centre for dates and mileage 1) so I can see what I've done since last oil change and 2) to see if this is normal oil useage for a 2 litre tfsi?
  19. Hi all AITP 9 trailer is out and we are in it! pause it when you notice us :D can't wait for the full one to come out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7uQ3fFbLIM Regards Bradley
  20. Any one come across a problem with the heated seat on the super sports seat? The red light that indicates the heated seat is on flickers on for a second then completely turns off. If I try pressing the button again no lights will come on however if I turn the car off and back on then the button will flicker again. Element, relays?? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers
  21. Hi, Does anybody know how I can change the small display (as circled in the attached image) to show me how many miles remaining in my tank. I have tried to press the right stalk but that only resets the trip counter. I have also tried to hold the right stalk and it also resets the trip counter. I have tried pulling the right stalk and that does nothing. At the moment the display is showing me the speed, however I don't know how I got it to show this as previous it was showing ">ne<". Regardless, all I want to know is how to change this display to show me the fuel range. I am driving a 2006 Audi A3 2.0 TDI S Line. It comes with the multi function steering wheel and also the Audi Navigation Plus head unit. Not sure whether I use either of those to change it but if you guys could please help.

  24. Hello all Me Birt Ram and Claire jumped in my Audi A6 3.0TDI S Line Le Mans and headed for Barcelona via Amsterdam. We stayed in Germany for most of the journey rather than France for obvious reasons and we got there in no time. Even when we did have to go through France we averaged 120mph through the night. After a few days in Barcelona me and Birt decided to venture on. We headed for Monaco and both had a go driving through the tunnel so we could say when we watch the F1 that we had done it. It's the small things haha. Then decided we wanted to visit a water park Jesolo which is in Italy. So off we went and through the night again it was superb. We ended up in a race with two identical Abarth 500's which you just couldn't make up, it was amazing, we played with them for a while then !Removed! off using the mighty power from the V6. After visiting the water park we decided that we might as well go to Venice, on the way into Venice you go over a bride covered in speed cameras. Being in a UK registered car I made every single camera flash, that was fun. In Venice we had a wander round got a pizza and then decided it was time so we headed to our favourite place - THE NURBURGRING. On the way there we passed through Austria, we have driven through Austria before and loved it so we were very happy to do it again. It didn't let us down. Superb roads and incredible views. Birt got stopped by the police for speeding and tailgating though. €35 Euro each resulting in a €75 on the spot fine and no points or anything like that. Not to bad. Parked up for the evening in a lay by off a German autobahn I was putting my private reg on as I had just had a phone call to say the new V5 had come in the post at home and a man grabs me. Turns out to be undercover armed police accusing us of stealing the car. After a long time we managed to sort it out even without the V5 and at that point the police had given up. They didn't understand anything about private reg's so by the end they basically just let us drive off and trusted us that we had put the correct reg on. Once at the Nurburgring we did a few laps each with some time in between to let the brakes cool down and had no drama whatsoever so all good. Always worth visiting if you haven't been. After that we decided to stop off in Amsterdam for another night on the way home to relax. Best idea ever. Home safe Month or so later recieve a 100mph speeding ticket from the M25 after doing 155mph legally in Germany. Oh !Removed!
  25. Evening all, I've had my Audi S4 2010 B8 for two weeks now and I'm loving it! Having an issue playing music from Spotify on my phone though. I've been told I do need some sort of bluetooth adapter that plugs into the slot in the glovebox to connect to that to then stream music from my iPhone 6S. I've looked on American (recommended by others in forums) sites for a bluetooth adapter but there are different types; 2GEN and 3GEN. I'm not sure which MMI I am running! Here's a photo of my centre console. I'd also prefer to purchase my 'adapter' from a UK supplier. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot, Andrew.
