transmission oil change or clutch ?
Apologies, I've just re-read your post, should have read it properly the first time 🤦♂️ If it's just first gear could it be a linkage? My wife has this similar issue on her Corsa many years ago. Engine wise, plans are afoot to get it back in the road. Early days yet but watch this space 😉

It sounds like clutch to me.

Engine change
Do t get me started. Been trying to find something similar for my a6 with no success. No garages want to do an engine swap. If you can't find the exact engine code like I couldn't then you might need the matching ECU, cluster and injection pump with the doner. This is what I need In my case.

ULEZ
ULEZ I know there's probably a lot of members worried about ULEZ from the 29th August. Here's the information from Audi: https://www.audi.co.uk/uk/web/en/assistance/imports-and-exports.html More importantly here's the email address: [email protected] I've emailed but waiting on a response. Will keep you all posted on how I get on. I appreciate my A6 most likely won't meet the limit however, I've done it as an experiment to help fellow members. Please note that any certificate of conformity if FREE from manufacturers.

Is it worth you checking the maf, lambda sensor and coil packs/spark plugs first.

Road trip
Thought the only Audi that got a fridge option is the a8? Think other models for an air conditioned glovebox as an option

Audi A4 2017 Shaking when idle
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up but I'd guess the maf sensor is playing up.

P0403 & P0234 - clears when restarts
Glad you got sorted. This the problem now with older Audi's. They're discontinuing the parts. And it's only going to get worse

Car shuts down while driving
The battery not being coded won't allow key functions to work. I wonder if it's an immobiliser issue?
