  1. No probs at all. To be fair I'm old school and prefer having a dipstick. I don't have too much trust in technology or computers.
  2. It's not easy. You'll need the head unit, upgraded antenna, wiring harnesses, additional modules? The simplest option is to fit an aftermarket android auto/apple car play touch screen.
  3. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Just curious what you're putting the running gear in?
  4. Will keep thinking where else it could be getting in.
  5. If it has an alarm I suspect the siren will be in the boot side panel. Electric aerial was standard I think as was the headlights on function. Even my old ford escort has that. If you have a sticker in your boot it might have the different codes on it which would highlight the spec when codes are put in a decoder. Think clear lenses were fitted to facelift cars if I'm not mistaken
  6. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  7. You might have to contact Audi or an auto locksmith
  8. Good job you found the damage before you ran it
  9. I'd check eBay but some engines different have the comparability

Timing could be out. When was the timing belt last changed? It could have stretched.
  11. You'll have to see if the end matches in your car.
  12. I've seen on the car campers groups on Facebook that people have made their own blinds. Using cardboard as a template then using thermal bubble wrap insulation from b&q, insulating roll similar to make custom ones. Plus this link might help: https://ethanmaurice.com/blog/how-to-make-blackout-window-shades-for-a-camper-van-or-element
  13. All looks normal to me.
  14. It would fit your Avant and is a direct fit if you have electric seats.
  15. It's a rubber compound. You can buy stickers that go over the existing switch gear like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394651879019?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=avueyyaerko&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  16. Most have just replaced the pump
  17. Could water be getting in where the roof and boot meet? Isn't there a seal there that could fail?
  18. A bit of a random one, are all the jubilee clips holding all the pipes on around the turbo etc tight? I ask as under pressure air could be escaping from I'll fitted pipes that wouldnt be visible when idling if that makes sense
  19. Something like this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384772391273?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=J1Wn6_hyTkS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  20. How old is the battery? That'd be my first port of call as a failing battery can cause various electrical gremlins or a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  21. I think you do have to go from underneath unless you take the bumper off which is more of a faff.
  22. Could be the rear light seals or the seal where the roof meets the boot.
  23. Ha r you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Could it be a faulty injector?
  24. You can try and get Audi to do it but it's a long time for the recall not to have been done and car is now 15 years old.
